Manchester`s Northern Quarter

Date Published 15 March 2010

Described by many as Manchester's equivalent to Greenwich Village, the bohemian Northern Quarter is literally packed with places to eat and drink with small independent bars and restaurants springing up all over which offer something different to the more commonly found ‘chain' establishments found elsewhere in the City. The Northern Quarter is also dotted with dozens of creative agencies, art galleries and quirky retailers which helps create a unique mix of great personalities, character and charm.

In addition, the Northern Quarter which is situated just between Piccadilly and the Market Street side of town, is fast becoming one of the most desirable places to live in Manchester City Centre amongst prospective tenants and homebuyers. Here at Granite Lettings we have noticed a significant rise in rental prices and confirm that it is one of the only areas of the city centre where rental prices hold their own. Since opening our Northern Quarter office in November 2008 we have quickly become the chosen letting agent in the area with a wide variety of properties to rent and sell in the district. Type ‘Letting Agent Northern Quarter' into Google and see who comes up top of the list!
